Explain how your pet responds to drop-off, separation, unfamiliar people, and new surroundings. Share how your pet plays, how much space they need, what can overwhelm them, and any animals or situations they should avoid.
Explain what is normal for your pet in a new environment, what may be a sign of stress or illness, and when you would want the facility to call you.

Questions about using Cotl for daycare or boarding

Yes. A daycare team may need information about group play, handling, energy, and daytime care. An overnight boarding facility may also need feeding, medication, sleep, comfort, and nighttime routine information.
You can create Care Notes for each situation using the same pet profile.

No. You can download the Care Notes as a PDF or share them through a live link that the staff can access on their computer or their phone’s web browser. The daycare or boarding facility staff do not need a Cotl account to read them.

Update the information in your Cotl Pet Profile. If you shared a live link, the boarding or daycare facility staff can see the updated information in those Care Notes link you already shared. If you shared a PDF, download and send the updated version.

No. People receiving Care Notes can view what you shared, but they cannot edit your Pet Profile.
