  • Sign your documents. You’ll receive two signature request emails from us. One contains your Cotl Plan (which is signed by you and your pets’ caretakers). The other is a W-9 tax form that we need to account for any money you might set aside for your pet. We only send this to you (and not your caretakers) to keep your personal tax information private. Make sure to sign both email requests!

  • We’ll send you a welcome packet in the mail. This will contain all of your Cotl Plan documents and instructions on how to make the most of your Cotl Plan. If you subscribed to Cotl Line, you’ll receive emergency preparedness materials, including a wallet card, a sticker to put somewhere in your home and/or car, and a pet tag to attach to your pet’s collar, harness, or cage.

  • We’ll send you an email. You’ll get an email from us with more information about making the most of your Cotl Plan (and your subscription to Cotl Line). That email will also include ways for you to engage with other Cotl parents and learn more about fostering your bond with your pet.
